small condo first week of June

I%26#39;m looking for a small (1br or studio) condo for june 1- june8.

Just need a pool, prefer heated one or sep hot tub. Needs to sleep 4 (bunks are fine).

Any recommendations?

What about Sandpiper Cove studios? Is it a decent location/beach?

We have stayed in the sandpiper cove studios. good location. The studios are across the street but there is a stop sign so traffic stops. Neat beach cabana with snacks,drinks. Not the fanciest but for the prices can%26#39;t be beat. The only question is the beach right now.I have read it is narrow on Holiday Isle. From the pictures at the end of the street I would definetly not stay there. At sandpiper it looked a little better. We were scared to risk it and found a 1 br at Maravilla where the beach has been restored. do some searches for yourself to decide about the beach in front of SP.

what about Gulf Terrace (corner of Airport Rd and 98?, I think)

Go to VRBO.com and do a search on ';destin nantucket';. Nantucket Cottages are in a good location in crystal beach. Not upscale by any means, but they are a good bargain and most of the units are pretty cute. Very good prices for the area as well.

Don%26#39;t do Gulf Terrace. They don%26#39;t even have a beach access anywhere. Plus, it is quite loud there with Big Kahuna%26#39;s up and running late into the night.

Obviously you are on a budget, but I think if you looked in Crystal Beach, Miramar Beach and Scenic Hwy 98 you could find something cute. It would probably be a block or so from the beach, but very walkable and a quiet neighborhoods.

Good read, Semco..I%26#39;m definitely on a budget this year. We%26#39;ve got another one on the way, due in September. :)

I do appreciate the ';no beach access'; warning, sounds like I%26#39;ll need to find another option.

Also, I am seeing some people beginning to run specials. I saw 250 a week discount on one house.. let me find it..

This is an examplle of a cottage in Crystal Beach. But, there are a lot of them out there, so people may be willing to negotiate.

Resort Quest is adverstising a 15% discount on their website for 3 nights or more on selected properties.

The Sundestin has one bedrooms right on the beach with an indoor and outdoor pool. They are on resortquest and VRBO.
