Key West look out!!!

8 (over 40) female friends will be dropping in for 5 days of fun in September.

I have been reading everyone%26#39;s suggestions to get the most of our trip.

I%26#39;ve read that our hotel is under construction, but hoping most of that is out of the way till we arrive. Is our hotel close to Duval? What one bar would you suggest, closest to the Hyatt to start our ';happy hour';?

We definately will be renting bikes to see KW during the day. We will be packing our bikes and heading to a beach for some sun and sobering up. Should we ride to Fort Zachery, Higgs or Duval Beach Club? We are hoping to ';sneak'; some wine along with us?

Your Hotel is a 2 minute walk to Duval, your location is great. You will be close to Alonzo%26#39;s , Conch Republic, Schooner Wharf, White Tarpon, Rum Barrel for happy hour. Kelly%26#39;s will be a 5 to 10 min. walk for HH.

Def ride your bike to the South side ude Whitehead (less traffic). Remember you can ride on the side walks in Key West just don%26#39;t do it when there is a lot of people on them.

If you have bikes you can ride to the very beginning of Smathers beach, on the western side, and find Sunset Watersports. They rent chairs if you want ot stay here for a day and there are vendors where you can buy soft drinks and snacks.

ride to all those locations, ans sneak all the wine you want, just use cups and you%26#39;ll be left alone. Bring it on! You all will have so much fun. Everyone bring a camera!

I would love to bring a camera, but the girls are saying ';No evidence!!!'; We are all married women and you know what they say ..........';What happens in Key West-Stays in Key West!!

We booked the hyatt key west marina resort for June 24 till 28th. Because of the location. I called to book 5 nights and they happen to be running a special right now, stay 4 nights and the 5th night is on them. I%26#39;ll let you know how it was when I get back.

Thanks....I%26#39;m abit concerned. I was responsible for picking this hotel for 8 of us. I want it to be a vacation to remember for my best girlfriends.

No sweat... Stuff %26#39;em in at the Blue Marlin while you take the Ocean View at the Westin.... That%26#39;s be a memory maker!

stusmom, Don%26#39;t worry your friends will like the Hotel it very nice and in a great location.

We stay at less pricy locations but stay for 10 days.

You will have a great time. The particular Hyatt just won some big deal award that is hard to get. I understand the renovations are really nice.

What fun thing can I take the girls to that would knock their socks-no sandels off? Something they would never do in Pa., besides the Duval Crawl.
