mystic dunes resort

we stayed there a few weeks ago, booked it through a company in england and got block 31, it was brilliant 1 bed apartment with jucuzzi in room, the 2 bed apartments are huge and we plan getting one when we return, the older apartments are nearer the golf course and they have wonderful views, never ate in the restaurants as they seemed to expensive but interiors looked nice and modern, the resort is just off the 192 so handy for everything, i would definately reccomend staying there

jsmanby,

was there any pressure on you to ';take a tour'; or speak about timeshare? I was looking at here but if I had to deal with pressure sales I%26#39;d rather not

We stayed there on an II exchange (before the name change), and have mixed feelings about the resort. Our 2 bed unit was spacious and extremely comfortable, with a huge leather sofa, big TV and lovely views over the golf course. We ate at the golf club bar several times as it was handy, and because it was so quiet, got really quick service. Nice pizzas and excellent wings! However... for the size of the resort there just weren%26#39;t enough pools, and they always seemed to be overcrowded. But if you want comfort, space and a good onsite golf course then this place is fine!

Thanks Bristol,

The pools would mean a lot to us (daughter spends most of her holiday life in them!) so I%26#39;d have to think about this now,

Lorraine,

I should add that the new pool with waterslide and waterfall would have been very nice ( had it not been crowded) and I%26#39;m sure your daughter would love it. I guess it would depend on what time of year you%26#39;re going, and if you can avoid swimming at peak times! Have you read through all the reviews of the resort? Having just done that, I see that most people are fairly complimentary about the pools, with only a few negative mentions of the crowds. Also, another thing to bear in mind that unless your building is next to one of the pools, you will have a long walk/drive.

Hope I haven%26#39;t confused you further now, good luck with your choice!

I agree with the pool situation, we had a pool on our block that did not become over crowded so i would suggest asking for a block that is right by a pool, also we went to reception and asked could we view a 2 bed apartment and they told us the block number and off we went, there was never any pressure to go on a tour or buy, we booked through jamesvillas and it cost 拢300 a week, the 2 bed is 拢350
