Quality Inn Plaza

Just wondering whether anyone had stayed at the Quality Inn Plaza on International Drive?

Not expecting luxury - just someone to sleep and change.

Any information on the surroundings of the hotel would be great - i.e. shops, restaurants etc.

Quality Inn Plaza

Gday Twent,

Stayed ay the QIP back in the 90%26#39;s rooms are ok a bit basic but as you say to sleep and change in they are fine.

You are across the road from Pointe Orlando which has near completed its refurbishment you also have a Sizzler,Pizza hut and Ming court chinese on your door step.

Quality Inn Plaza

stayed at quality inn plaza last april and i am going back in october , don t expect any to fancy

the rooms cleaned every day

fridge and safe in room

grounds are kept tidy

towels round pool

deli in the hotel

never ate in hotel so can t comment, were the hotel is on international drive you will have plenty of places to eat

don t worry about the hotel just look forward to your holiday

my husband and i stayed at QIP last july. hotel is absolutely fine. great location (there%26#39;s plenty around to do, but you%26#39;re at the %26#39;quieter%26#39;end of I-Drive, so it is a bit nicer. we stayed at the quality inn international the year before and that end of I-Drive is noisier/busier.

the deli is great. the restaurant food wasn%26#39;t great, but to be honest there are plenty of cheaper and better eats nearby (sizzler, etc)so not a problem for us. the room service food was pretty good (my husband liked their pizza and chicken wings)

hope this helps x

Stayed at the QIP last July and found this hotel to be exactly what you pay for. Clean rooms which have 2 double beds and are cleaned daily. Pool area has fresh towels for guests use. Had breakfast in the restuarant once, no problem with the food, but it was chaos and a bit of a free for all. Zebras sports bar is ideal for a relaxing drink at night and had karaoke and singers. The hotels location is its major plus point with easy access to the I-trolley and buses. Free shuttles to Universal but not Disney and not able to book Disney tickets at the attractions desk. Would not hesitate to stay here again but if you are unhappy with your room don%26#39;t hesitate to ask for a change as our first room was directly facing onto the interstate which is ';noisy'; but staff were only too happy to offer alternatives.

Staying at Lake Buena Vista this year as did Universal last year but doing Disney this time.

Can%26#39;t wait only 13 weeks to go!!

When you say there is a fridge in the room am I pushing my luck in asking whether it has a little freezer compartment?

Have stayed in Quality Inn Plaza a couple of times and its in a great location, clean and just what you need if you are just looking for somewhere to sleep. I would stay there again.

I had hoped to get a fridge in my room last time but when I asked, they had no rooms with fridges available and even if they did have they were looking for extra money per day. I would have paid it had I been able to get one but it was no big deal. Just be aware that there are not fridges in all the rooms if thats what you want.

stayed at the QIP twice now and will be going again next August.

I think it%26#39;s clean, cheap and really great if you don%26#39;t have a car, enough public transport and the trolley (we take passes for both).

We looked at the breakfast buffet once and then decided there are better places for a better price (unless it changed since 2003 when I first stayed there)

A good restaurant to visit might be Bahama Breeze (within walking distance)

You also find a Walgreens accross the street and much much more

Hope you enjoy your stay there!
