We are thinking maybe of taking a glassbottom boat tour with our 2, 8, and 10 year old kiddos. I read that the kids can snorkel...but at what age? Is this a good tour that is worth the $$ or are others recommended more?

I have no idea about Florida snorkeling, but my kids age 7 and 9 now started snorkeling two years ago in Cozumel. They loved it. We did practice in the pool before going. They snorkeled at least 5 different reefs in varied currents and since I am an excellent swimmer, I was not worried. Also the guides on the tours were very good and helpful. The 2 year old would likely not like the mask/ snorkel thing... but would probably love to be pulled along in the water behind you. If they don%26#39;t like it, they should enjoy the boat ride.
We are going to Ft. Lauderdale for the first time in June...so we will try snorkeling there.
