First time at Sanibel

Going the end of June with 3 older children. Looking to rent a condo. Pointe Santo looks very nice, Loggerhead, also. Need 2 BR, any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

First time at Sanibel

Hi JerseyGirl!

We own at Pointe Santo and the reason we did is because it was the best combination (for us) of beautiful grounds, upscale accomodations and family friendly.

Loggerhead is popular with families and has a larger pool, but Pointe Santo is much more tropical and the pool and spa are almost beachfront.

In June, the pool is not usually crowded. There are scores of beach chairs along the beach under the palms and that tend to draw sunbathers away from the pool deck.

Pointe Santo 2BR will be about $200 more expensive that Loggerhead. You can probably find rentals through the owners for $1000-1300 depending on location.

I suggest you Google search ';Pointe Santo condo for rent by owner'; and you will find a large number of owner rental web sites that will give you a lot of information about individual units and you will likely find a better price there. Or you can check out the insider page on the Sanibel Overview page above and find the article ';Finding and Renting a Vacation Property'; for more ideas.

sorry for the repeat. the submit page got stuck. stuck. stuck.

Thanks for the info. I have gotten a great response from Pointe Santo owners. The minute I sent e-mails via FloridaVacations.com, my cell phone was ringing off the hook. Very good selections and pricing for a week. I just wanted to make sure I was making a good decision.

That%26#39;s nice to hear. The owners at Pointe Santo were another reason we went there. Very active group and that%26#39;s why most of the units and grounds are kept up so well.

And just a note: I am booked until July so I have little vested interest in this. I still think you will be very happy at PS!
