Airport Transfer/Car Hire

This will be our 2nd trip to Florida - The first time we stayed in a private villa and booked fly-drive tickets and uplifted our car from the airport before driving down to Kissimmee. This time we are staying in a villa (Terra Verde Resort) and had heard that the resort offers a transfer service from the airport. Unfortunately though we can%26#39;t seem to find out how we would go about booking same. Additionally we would also like to know if a Hired Car could be delivered to the resort or if there is anyplace locally in Kissimmee where we could uplift same.

There is a Budget location in Old Town in Kissimmee. There is a car rental office in the HIlton at Lake Buena Vista. I suspect that there is one at the Marriott World Center or the Caribe. You can pick up your car there. There is an Enterprise location on the Orange Blossom Trail (17-92-441) about a mile north of 192 in Kissimmee. They will pick you up where ever you are.

Have you booked your villa at Terra Verde direct with the owner? If so, ask them, they will have all the details - it would probably have to be authorised by an owner/management company at the resort.

As CruisingtoRetirement mentions, there are local offices you can collect a car from. We did look into having a car delivered to the villa last year for some of our guests but, although I can%26#39;t remember the exact figure, I know it was quite expensive to have this service so they opted to collect it locally instead.

Make sure you book your car through a UK agent with a pre-paid voucher before you arrive - don%26#39;t rent the car locally, it works out much more expensive.
