Shopping in Daytona

I will be travelling to Daytona Beach March 10-17 and was wondering where the best shopping is in the area. I will have access to a vehicle, so anything within an hour or so is great. Also, does anyone know how far the drive is from Daytona Beach to the Kennedy Space Centre?

From Daytona to Kennedy Space Center is about 60 to 65 miles depending on where you leave from.

Volusia Mall is the biggest shopping venue in Daytona and has many of the major dept. stores.

as far as malls go the volusia mall is average. the best shopping to me is the large flea market.. it is only open fri. sat. and sun but is worth your time. everything imaginable to be had. do not expect to hit it all in one day for it ts very large and unique. about 15-20 minutes from the beach...

The Flea Market is a must. You may want to head to St Augustine there are some good outlets up there and historic St Augustine has a bunch of shoppes. This really can be an all day excursion. Traveling the scenic route up A1A is beautiful.

Orlando also has several malls to choose from. I have heard the Daytona Flea Market is good as previous poster suggested.

There is so much shopping in Daytona. Just on the A1A strip alone you have tons of shops. However, you can find the same stuff at the Flea Market for much cheaper. We always hit the Flea Market on Friday morning - get there bright and early (usually at about 8) you then avoid the weekend crowds. That also gives us an opportunity to go again over the weekend in case we couldn%26#39;t make up our minds to buy something. We typically spend the whole morning and part of the afternoon there. Volusia Mall is just your typical Mall - you will find your Sears, JC Penny%26#39;s, Victoria Secrets etc. The outlet Mall up in St. Augustine is huge and will find some good deals there. I doubt you will have any problems locating shopping in and around the Daytona area. I hope you have a wonderful trip.
