Eden House vs. Island City House vs. Simonton Court

It has been years since I have been to Key West and was looking for a little assistance. We are going with a group of 5- 30 somethings for a birthday to Key West and are trying to decide on a place to stay. We want to be centrally located but may run into an issue finding a place that holds five. May have to do separate rooms. Seems like these hotels fit the bill. Any thoughts?

Eden House vs. Island City House vs. Simonton Court

Wow you did a good job. All 3 places are in a good location. You can walk from Eden House to SC in 5 to 6 min. with ICH in the middle. As far as price EH is the low and SC is the high. You really can not go wrong with your picks.

At EH you will be closer to the other people that stay there, the grounds are small. ICH %26amp; SC have buildings in a circle with pool in the center.

Pick one and book, PJ

Tropical-Explorer,

We try to stay at Simonton Court every year, we found it 4 years ago when we were traveling with 15 people. They have pently of rooms that will hold 5+ the Royal Palm 1 and 2 are connecting. You will be very close to Duval, just up the alley way is Fat Tuesdays to give you a land mark.

Can only tell you about Simonton Court.

Basically for your needs - they have several self contained cottages - with full kitchen / kitchenette. (Don%26#39;t go for Poppy which says it sleeps 4 but has facilities for 2!) Take a look at the website - several small pools, excellent location just off Duval and great accommodation choices with outdoor decks and private outdoor hot tubs.

Can only tell you about Eden House....

Four of us ladies rented apartment 403 which was wonderful. It%26#39;s on the second floor. HUGE bathroom...the four of us could be in there at the same time and not bump into each other. Both queen bed and queen sofa bed were really comfortable. Cute kitchenette , nice little deck overlooking the pool, and large screened in back porch which is also the entrance to the apartment. Kind of an L-shaped room and great for communal living which we like.

The hammock area is a nice touch. Well maintained pool and jacuzzi and the grounds were lush and trimmed. The free happy hour was a great way to meet other folks who were in the same mindset.

Five people may be pushing it for this particular apartment, but there is an apartment on the first floor along with a few others on the grounds. The upstairs and downstairs of the Deluxe Conch House is rented separately or together as well.

Everyone was so nice there and the location was ideal. We%26#39;d go back there in a heartbeat!

Hoped this helps....

Thank you everyone for the responses. Lots of great information. Here was my expereince when calling these hotels. I called Simonton Court and they were rude. Similar to several of the reviews. So there out.... If you are not nice on the phone I can only imagine in person. Island City House was very nice and helpful. Eden House was disorginized but nice once I got them to call me back. After all that.... I found a house rental that was less than the hotels for our group and centrally located. We will go with this.

Thanks to all!
