Stay at Ritz South Beach or Key Biscayne with 16 month old?

We are going to be going away for a long weekend with our 16 month old. Which hotel is more kiddie friendly?

Both are lovely. There is much more to do without a rental car on South Beach. The only plus to the Key Biscayne beach is that the waters tend to be more shallow and placid if you wanted to take your baby in to swim...

Generally you will have more options to stroll and dine and sightsee on South Beach.
