What to do in Naples for 4 days

My husband and I will be in Naples this Friday thru Monday and are looking for suggestions on what to do/see. We are looking to spend some time at the beach, maybe shop a little, relax, maybe dine on the water somewhere. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Rebecnoel,

Check out Vanderbilt Beach or Naples Pier for beaching. For a more quiet beach experience you can check out Wiggens Pass. We park at the last section and go to the left and it%26#39;s very nice and peaceful.

You can go to Fifth Avenue and Third Street for boutique and Gallery shopping. If you%26#39;re into high end shopping (or looking), you can check out the Waterside Shops.

For true waterfront dining you can go to Baleens at LaPlaya Resort. The website is www.laplayaresort.com/laplaya_baleen.aspx

For water view dining you can go to The Villages at Venetian Bay or Bayfront for some dining on the water. Bayfront website is http://www.bayfrontnaples.com/. Venetian Bay website is http://www.naples.com/village/

Enjoy your weekend!

The Naples Zoo and the Conservancy are fun too.

Also, if you want to travel north on 41 for @ 30-40mins, they opened a new shopping center which actually looks like a town. Its called Coconut Pointe in Estero. Its great.

One evening you could take a sunset cruise on the Naples Princess. A ship that takes people through Naples bay to view the multi-million dollar homes of Port Royal and then out into the Gulf for sunset. Some nights they serve dinner and some nights they serve appatizers.

Also 5th Ave is great for eating and has a bit of a night life.

If you want to drive a little bit you can go up to Sanibel Island off of Ft. Myers. It will be about a 45 minute drive from Naples, but well worth it.

Have fun!

Take a drive to Sanibel/ Capitiva watch the sunset, at the restraurant ';Green Flash'; in Capitva, breath taking. Go canoe/kayaking at ';Lover%26#39;s Key State Park'; Bonita Beach road. Shopping at the waterfalls, high end tough, but a pleasant walk around. Visit Books a Million across from the Coastland Mall in Naples, buy a great book or read the vast amount of magazines in the evening. Go to Pincher%26#39;s Crab Shack on 41 in Bontia Beach Happy Hour 5-7pm, have stone crabs.

Have fun
