Orlando is landlocked so it would have to be a lake, but I doubt there are colorful fish in the lakes in Florida - more likely you%26#39;ll find alligators.

Check out www.fun2dive.com or www.manateetours.com. Those are a couple of companies that offer inland snorkeling tours. Previous poster is correct, you do not want to go into just any lake in Florida as most have alligators and water moccasins.

For seeing the colorful fish you really have to go to the keys.

Agree with prior posts that caution re: snorkeling in Florida lakes. Those little old gators may find their way into just about any body of water down there...they will even show up in non-fenced swimming pools occasionally.

If you plan any trips to the beach...Siesta Key (about 2 1/2 hours over to the Gulf) has decent snorkeling at the place called ';Point O%26#39; Rocks.

I think Typhoon Lagoon also has a small snorkeling pool but not sure that%26#39;s really what you are looking for. Consider some of the State Parks, some of which have areas you can swim free of gators.
