Marriott Hotels

My family and I would like to spend a few days near Disney next February. We%26#39;d like to use our Marriott points for our hotel. Any suggestions about hotels in the chain (Marriott, Residence Inn, Courtyard, SpringHill, Fairfield) that would be close to Disney and would be pleasant places to stay. They don%26#39;t need to be fancy since we%26#39;ll probably be in the room very little. There will be two adults and two teenagers. Thank you.

Marriott Hotels

Check out the Marriott Village hotels-there is a Courtyard,a Springhill Suites and a Fairfield Inn. All very nice and adjacent to the Premium Outlet Mall,as well as a Publix Supermarket. There are also many restaurants nearby. The Marriott World Center has fabulous pools but no free shuttle to Disney as the Marriott Village does

Marriott Hotels

These three are part of the Marriott Village in Lake Buena Vista, close to the Disney property:

SpringHill Suites Orlando Lake Buena Vista in Marriott Village

Fairfield Inn Orlando Lake Buena Vista in the Marriott Village

Courtyard Orlando Lake Buena Vista in the Marriott Village

Plug these in the search box in the upper left hand corner, and you will find user reviews for each of these and info at the hotel. They also share amenities.

There%26#39;s also a Residence Inn in the Lake Buena Vista area, not too far away. And there are the Marriott Vacation Club resorts (Cypress Harbor, Grande Vista, and Horizons by Marriott Vacation Club) which are not too far away either, but don%26#39;t know if they take points, and they are fancier; there%26#39;s a different Residence Inn also by Horizons. And also close to Disney and not far away from those places is the Orlando World Center Marriott, with Hawk%26#39;s Landing Golf Club, and more MVC resorts onsite (Imperial Palms, Royal Palms, and Sabal Palms). But these would be fancier.

stay at the marriott village it is good and in a great location to

everything and they do a great free bus shuttle to all disney parks

just got back ourselves from a 3 week stay and it was brillant.

We stayed at the Marriot Sabal Palms in April 05. Very happy with it. 2 bedroom with living room, full kitchen, washer and dryer. Pool was great. It%26#39;s on the same property as the Marriott World Center. Publix supermarket nearby. When we were there they did have free shuttles to Universal, which is where my kids prefer. The shuttle was fine, though it did stop at other Marriott properties. Sometimes we took a cab which was about $10 to $12. It ended up being cheaper than renting a car. The drinks at the pool I thought were a bit pricey ($9 for a pina colada and $6 for a non-alcoholic one.) Overall, it was great having the extra space, even though we weren%26#39;t in the room very much. Check vacationclub.com which shows the Marriott properties that are condos/timeshares. They sometimes run specials that include park tickets. Ours gave us free 7 day passes to SeaWorld.

We have stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott at Palm Parkway which we thought was really nice and only 5 minutes from Disney....that was until we stayed at the Marriott World Center which is just fabby and we%26#39;re going back this year.

I get the feeling you can%26#39;t go too wrong with any of the Marriotts around Disney - another plus for the World Center is its 2 minutes from Disney and the road in is always pretty quiet.
