Thanks!

I am, for whatever reason, unable to reply to posts on the previous thread where I posted questions about rental agencys, contracts and clauses. I want to thank all who responded. I appreciate the information and your presence on this forum!

We%26#39;ve always stayed in resort type hotels when we vacationed so negotiating a condo rental is new territory for me. In fact, Sanibel Island and the entire area will be new territory for us as vacationers. We are very much looking forward to our time there!

Thanks!

I sincerely hope you have a great experience and vacation on the islands often. It is addictive. Many of us have been going down for 2 decades or more. :-)

Thanks!

I echo Tourm%26#39;s wishes for a pleasantly memorable vacation on Sanibel.

I also am moved to mention that, if you are accustomed to the guest services you receive at resorts and resort hotels, please don%26#39;t expect that kind of service in a rental condo. Then again, you won%26#39;t be paying for services you DON%26#39;T use.

Even if you rent a condo at a resort, only if you rent through the resort rental pool, as at Sundial or South Seas, do you get the full smorgasbord of services and amenities. If you rent directly from a private owner or a rental manager that handles private owner units at those resorts, you will pay significantly less, but you will not have free access to many of the amenities. In some cases, you can pay an extra daily fee. But then, why not pay the full boat for the resort plan?

Just be sure to check it out first and know what you are getting for your money.

Then, c%26#39;mon down. We want you here.
