Hey there, I fancy an air boat ride when i visit orlando in 178days! are the rides offered by Boggy Creek the best or can someone recommend another one?
Also what is the best time of day to go?

Hello- dont know if they%26#39;re the ';best'; in or around Orlando.. only done this ride once there.. (other times have been down in Everglade City!!)
Boogie Creek was great... we did the night time ride and that was something soooo different.....you see load of gators but obviousley you dont see the birds..
I%26#39;m sure you will enjoy whenever you do it.. and the location is easy to find...

Air boat rides. Boggy creek ?We have done the ';drive yourself'; airboats just off Irlo Bronson (192) Kissimmee, but weren%26#39;t impressed.
We have also done one at Fishlake Camp (different area of Boggy Creek Road) and Boggy Creek Airboats.
Fishlake Camp is very quiet, with not many people about waiting for airboats. Sometimes you get to go on one by your own party. We were heading their this last time, but came upon Boggy Creek by accident and decided to go with them. Boggy Creek is more commercialised. Their boats seat 18 in three rows of 6 and depart every 30 minutes. They also have the large wheel safari vehicle and combo trips can be booked.
Both Fishlake and Boggy Creek have good guides who show you wildlife (alligators and birds) and both are in a beautiful setting with lots of birds to spot whilst waiting. Boggy Creek offer private trips at $45 per person.
Good point about the size of the boat .. I had forgotten about that!... The night time ride at BC was in a big airboat..... must say as it was night time.. that was good... but the other day tim ones we have had in ever glade city were on the smaller boats which hold 6 people.. they were brilliant and very exciting...
