Booked trip for September & airlines already made a change

Just happened to call Disney to check on something with the trip and found out that my flight times had been changed. One flight was cancelled and replaced with a flight that leaved 2 hrs later...kind of cuts into our vacation time. And, the return flight is 1 hr earlier.

Once you book the flights, you are at the mercy of the airlines because the tickets booked thru Disney are non-refundable. I know because I asked today. Definitely not a terrible thing, but disppointing. Anyone else have that happen?

Hello katestepmom,

Theonly time that has happened to us was when we were flying back from Cancun the flight time was 5 hours later!

I have to say that for a trip to Disney a two hour flight delay won%26#39;t be that big of a deal because usually on the day of arrival people don%26#39;t head for the parks. Simply plan on having a relaxing dinner and relaxing near the pool before you begin all the excitement of the parks the next day this way you%26#39;ll be ready to go!

That%26#39;s no big deal, what else would you be doing on the day of travel. Its only the price of a thunderstorm when you get there, while you may not like the thunderstorm shutting down the parks there is little you can do but make the best of it. Be thankful you can make the trip at all millions cannot.

So far none of our flights have ever been changed, We fly Southwest Airlines. I hope all works out for you.
