My husband and I are visiting Orlando from the end of May until the beginning of June. We are staying at the Best Western in LBV (thoughts on the hotel??). Since we both are first time visitors to WDW, I was wondering if maybe we can get some help. We purchased the WDW 6 day + park hopper and the 7 day unlimited all access pass to Universal. So now that we have all that, we don%26#39;t know how to plan what days to visit what??? Also, any tips for first timers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!
Visiting Orlando end of May
some of my best advice is always 1. go early, right when the parks open, 2. avoid the extra magic hours days at Disney, 3. don%26#39;t be afraid to go to one park early, take a break, then go to another park late since you have the hoppers...also.... check out www.tourguidemike.com!
Visiting Orlando end of May
check out the site below.. lots of great tips and information
http://www.allears.net/
Agree that allearsnet.com has great info. Also, try touringplans.com. They have some excellent free info as well as their paid info.
Remember that most of the parks are huge. Think well broken-in shoes, sunscreen, and lots of water.
Have fun!
third vote for allears.net...best Disney site by far. If they don%26#39;t have an answer for all your questions, no one will......cudos to whom ever runs that site
You should be aware that your trip will fall during Gay Days at Disney. Just be aware of it. It might not be of a concern to you. We will also be there the first of June. The websites quoted above give you lots of information about where to go when. It really does matter in order for you to have the best trip ever with minimal waiting times for the rides. Also get The Unofficial Guide to Disney. Lots of great information about planning your trip. Have everything planned out before you go. You wont regret it. Have fun!
I%26#39;m all for the allears site, but try this post here for what parks to avoid if you are not staying at a Dineyhotel:

Make a plan, then show it to us and we will all help. Beware of not including rest days and fun nights like DTD/PI and citywalk. Think about booking good on Disney restaurants where as 2 adults you can find good food in a great atmosphere. (As well as Emerils etc at Universal).
