going to fort lauderdale in April would like to find a hotel to leave car and get shuttle to cruise port

Don%26#39;t know if its accepted by them, but I stayed at the Amerisuites on 17th street causeway (a half mile to the cruiseport) and they had ample parking and I was not issued a pass to park there.
