NEED HELP !!!! Character dining @ Disney

Hello,

We are taking our children to Disney for the first time, a boy and girl, 3 and 4 years old. We did purchase a 7 day hopper pass. I went to Disney for the 1st time in December, so we can%26#39;t wait to take them.

We want to do maybe 1-2 character dining experiences, but I don%26#39;t know where to start.

We really want to go to one where you can see the most characters.

My daughter loves the princesses, and my son.... well, he loves Spiderman.

What is everyone%26#39;s opinion.

p.s. I know Spiderman is at Islands of Adventure, but is there anywhere else to spot him?

Hello Roshanda,

Chef Mickey%26#39;s at the Contemporary Resort is a favorite with younger children with Mickey and Minnie.

Your daughter would love Cinderella%26#39;s Royal Table in the Magic Kingdom

The Crystal Palace at the Magic Kingdom has Pooh, Eeyore, Tigger and Piglet

The Liberty Tree Tavern for a dinner character meal is a great choice with Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Chip and Dale.

For a list of all the Disney menu%26#39;s go to www.allearsnet.com

Also make all your character meal reservations 180 days in advance by calling 407-WDW-DINE.

I second a vote for Chef Mickey%26#39;s all around fun family meal for breakfast or dinner. Your kids will love it!!!!!!!!!!!

There%26#39;s also princess dining at Akershus in Norway, epcot. Allears will list menu %26amp; reviews. However brace yourself, because the menu isn%26#39;t to most people%26#39;s taste. The princesses can be seen in toon town, %26amp; around the MK, so personally I would go to Chef Mickey, Crystal Palace, or Liberty Tavern.

Cinderellas dining in the MK castle books 6 months in advance, so you%26#39;ll have to be vigilant if you want to book it. Spiderman is only available at Universal. Happy planning!

if your son really loves spiderman, I would consider universal for at least one day! There is nowhere to see him otherwise.

I know your daughter loves princesses, but I would take them to a place with many characters.

chef mickey%26#39;s is the best and most consistant place to meet a lot of characters. (We did it every summer, and I am 23 now, that is seriously some consistancy!)

i say chef mickey%26#39;s because both your daughter and son can get to see characters they both love.

my brother was always bummed when we would eat in the castle he thought it was too girly!

How about ';cars'; or woody/buzz? Are they at any of the character meals?

Don%26#39;t recall any of the Cars or Buzz Lightyear characters at any Disney character meals....sorry.

I%26#39;d try to go for Chef Mickey%26#39;s, Crystal Palace with Pooh and Friends, or Liberty Tree Tavern character meal.

My 3 year old boy loved both the Crystal Palace and Cinderella%26#39;s Castle (booked this with my daughter in mind but as he%26#39;s seen most of the princesses in her DVDs he knew them all and had a great time).

His face was a picture when Pooh and the gang came round the tables in the Crystal Palace though, well worth the money.

One other thing you could book for your daughter is Bibiddy Bobiddy Boutique. They have three packages to choose from and your daughter can have her hair, fingernails and make up done like a princess. It%26#39;s located in Downtown Disney. We chose the middle package for $45. Disneyworld.com has information about it and so does allears.net. You do need to book in advance with a credit card. You aren%26#39;t charged but they do need it for the reservation. We are going in 2 weeks and my daughter is very excited for this. We also booked the breakfast at the castle for just her and I to attend. My son is 7 and he wasn%26#39;t interested in that so he is going to have some time with dad and the grandparents. We also booked Chef Mickey%26#39;s for a character breakfast.

Another vote for Chef Mickey%26#39;s. My family has found this to be the best character meal-lots of character interaction, pretty good food and a fun setting. The Princess breakfast at the castle at the MK is very nice but expensive and not really worth the hassle of making the reservation. The Princess meal at the Grand Floridian are better overall-make it dinner and then you can go out on the beach and watch the fireworks. If your daughter wants to meet Cinderella-and who doesn%26#39;t-there is a Princess character meet and greet at the Toontown Fair in the MK. Go early! And if you go into the castle around 15 minutes before the first breakfast. Cinderella will be on her royal throne and you can get in line and take a picture. But for family character dining-Chef Mickey%26#39;s for a late breakfast is ideal

Chef Mickey%26#39;s for us. My kids are teens, but as a family we really enjoyed the experience and the food was pretty good.
