help please new to the keys

hello

i am looking at taking me and my dog down to the keys for a few days around easter.

i have found only 1 place in marathon even in my price range 100.00 a night and they are booked.

any suggestions?

are there motels along the way between marathon and key west.

i have neve been and just moved to ft. lauderdale from st. john usvi%26#39;s and am homesick so this trip seems the closest to home

any feedback would be greatly apprectiated

i need 100 a night or less

i need dog friendly

otherwise no worries

Sugarloaf Lodge on, oddly enough, Sugarloaf, is dog-friendly, and it%26#39;s only 15ish miles away from Old Town Key West. I don%26#39;t know anything about the accommodations -- it%26#39;s an Old Florida kind of place, probably very basic.
