Easter visit tp Sanibel

My extended family (2 teenagers, Grandma and Grandpa ) will be staying at Pointe Santo on Sanibel over Easter. I have a couple questions:

1. Are sand flies still a problem that time of year?

2. I would like to go to church on Easter, are there any churches on the island?

3. After church I would like to have brunch...recommendations for brunch?

sand flies? Don%26#39;t know anything about Flies but there are a bug called no-see-ums. They are more like sand fleas and are most bothersome at dusk. Avon-skin-so-soft (I never go without it when traveling to Sanibel) works really well for these pest as well as most mosquito repellents.

Sanibel also offers church for most faiths. There are several restaurants that offer brunch but I can not think of any at this moment other than the Hungry Heron. Many do offer special menus for Easter dinner.

';Sand fleas'; are actually the no-see-ums MSC wrote about. A small biting insect. The bother some folks more than others. Women are often bothered more than men. They can suddenly become a problem if the weather is warm enough and wet enough.

Brunch - is a bit hard to come by on Sanibel. I%26#39;ve never been sure why. It%26#39;s not as popular as most other places. When you enter Sanibel stop at the Visitor Center [second building on right after you leave the causeway and before the stop sign. Ask about brunch on Easter. Or give them a call and make reservations if al all possible. Busy day on the island.
