Go to mousesavers.com to get the coupon codes for the car rental companies. Budget %26amp; national are right in the Orlando airport. Alamo is too, but there%26#39;s sometimes problems with long lines even with the fast break program. Any one of these websites will have a box to check stating ';I%26#39;m not from the US';, or something similar. Check Canada for country of origin. The prices will be in US dollars. You can also access it from budget.ca or National.ca.

Thank you so much potatofeet....great site!!

You%26#39;re welcome jo2310! Mousesavers is a great site, as is allears.net for Disney info. If you have a gold or platinum credit card, collision/loss/damage insurance will be included for your rental car, which will more than cover the cost of the annual fee for the card. The cibc ones also include travel medical. Not sure about the other companies. With the coupons %26amp; subtract the rental company cost for insurance, the prices are really quite reasonable. Check with your home car insurance provider regarding liability insurance. happy planning!

jo2310 - I found my best rate through Dollar.

corporate code oi1054 if need a second driver - check that it says INCLSV DRVR or something like that --- it worked for most car classes for 2 weeks except for Full Size which only for one week.

promo KVV or BOD if only need one driver

It was substantially less than other companies. Check different car classes though.

Many posters have said to reserve a lower class car than you want as they always get upgrades. We%26#39;re going with the class we want to make sure we get it.

Manitoba%26#39;s car insurance also had coverage for rental cars - forgot to check if potatofeet said that :)

Most rental companies don%26#39;t consider a spouse or adult who resides at the same address a second driver. The web sites don%26#39;t always make that clear, so you may want to phone %26amp; confirm their policies.

Thanks for all your help: my only question is with all the codes! do I simply input those codes with no questions asked? do I have to supply a proof of those codes upon pick-up?? I%26#39;m not sure I understand? thanks for helping.

When we went, we rented from national. I signed up for the emerald isle offer through mousesavers. After registering for that, the code was automatically entered on the web site, which after comparison at the time, was the largest discount code. I also used a coupon from mousesavers. When another coupon for a larger discount became available a few weeks later, I phoned, %26amp; had my rate reduced further with the coupon. I could have gotten it $15 cheaper for 10 days through budget, but when I called, they said the first time you use their ';fast break%26#39; option, you have to go into the terminal %26amp; wait at the desk. I was anxious to start my vacation, %26amp; didn%26#39;t want to risk a long line. We walked into the parkade, jumped into a vehicle of our choice from our car class row, %26amp; gave the printed coupon, drivers license, %26amp; confirmation # to the guy at a booth on the way out. Very easy %26amp; smooth. So, that%26#39;s my experience, take it for what it%26#39;s worth.

If some discount codes are for say certain organizations or places of employment etc., you may be required to show proof of membership etc. Mousesavers usually lays it out pretty clearly. They will also tell you which companies are on site. For the others, you%26#39;ll have to wait for a shuttle bus to take you to another location. For a few dollars, it might not be worth it. Sorry I can%26#39;t be of more help to you.

Once again, Spuds, you are on a roll!! It%26#39;s so nice to hear from you again!

Thanks for the great car info, and thanks for the thread, Jo!! Great advice ladies!!

I%26#39;ll back Lanu%26#39;s post and her rental codes. I have a compact car booked with Dollar for $140 US for 1 week, and with all taxes %26amp; fees, the total is US182.69, which I thought was a great deal!

Thanks Lanu.

Thanks to you all!!! It%26#39;s great to have options.
