Banyan Tree 603 Beach Rd or the Beach Place

Looking @ both, Banyan Tree looks nicer, specifically the Key Largo unit. It seems to be located on the beach @ 603 Beach Rd. Anyone have info on both? Thank you.

Hi! I%26#39;ve been going to Siesta Key for about 15 years now, my grandparents retired and moved to Sarasota. I also have family that lives in Sarasota and on the Key. We just got back from vacationing on Siesta Key. It was me, my husband, our 1 year old, my sister, her husband and two kids (3 and 1). We stayed at Banyan Tree Beach Resort, which offers lots of rentals. We stayed in the ';gulf'; and had a PERFECT vacation. It is 1/2 block to beach, 1/2 block to village, and down the street from Siesta Market. My sister and I hit the grocery store for our ';big'; grocery trip, then whenever we needed something we forgot or ran out of we just walked down the street to the market. It was wonderful. We were there an entire week and only had to put the kids in the car twice! Loved it. The house is RIGHT next to the pool, so close we could take our baby monitors out there during nap time. Laundry facilities right next door (in the garage of house next door), clean house, and nice property mgmt. We were very pleased with everything and will be renting from them again next year.

ps. lots to do in the village (eat, ice cream parlor, beach shops).

good luck!

Thanks so much...I finally booked our trip!! I hope Banyan Tree is as good as it looks. Thanks for all your help!! :o)

We are thinking of booking Key Largo in November. What did you think? Was it close to beach and village? We are hoping to spend a week without a car - is this possible. We are beach people and enjoy walking and quiet, quiet vacations. Were you happy there?

Here is the website for the Banyan Tree:

There are a variety of accomodations and prices.

You are in walking distance to Siesta Village and the beach.

Some units are closer to the beach than others.

Since you mentioned quiet, perhaps you should look at other places further away from Siesta Village.

You could spend a week without a car, you will be limiting yourself as far as exploring the area.

My trip is not untilt the end of April!
