getting to disney parks

The Lynx #50 drops off at the Ticket and Transportation Center. From there you would take a bus or monorail (or if MK, you can use the Ferry) to the park of your choice (monorail only goes to Epcot or MK, of course).

Cabs usually drop you off at the one area which is normally a section of the bus parking lot just outside the parks. I know this is true for MGM and Animal Kingdom so I imagine it%26#39;s the same for MK and Epcot. This will literally be a five minute walk to the park entrance. As for Universal, the cab drops you off at the bus parking lot in a section right next to the escalator which takes you up to City Walk.

Does that mean if i get a cab then i will not need to use the disney transportation system?

.

when going to a disney resort ??????

From where. Are staying on a disney resort, or going to one.

Do you want to know how to get to a Disney Park from a Disney resort.

Im staying on international drive by wet n wild,

im going at easter and want to know where in disney a taxi would drop me off, can you get close to the parks?

I think the q has been answered - you are dropped off near the gates pretty much with a taxi (usually the parking lot). The only difference is MK where you%26#39;ll need to hop on the boat or monorail for the last part as only Disney bus transport takes you to the entrance (or close to). You can take monorail from MK to Epcot and you can also connect from Epcot to MGM via boat. AK is out on its own.

Some non Disney hotels do run shuttles but depends on location. I often think people should factor in the cost of taxis when booking hotels. For instance, if doing Disney more, a Hotel with free transport is worth a few extra bucks when you consider the price of taxis.

If you not driving you might find the shuttle buses from your hotel or close by much cheaper than Taxi%26#39;s. But their not as convenient. Some hotels dont charge for this service but others do.

These shuttle buses should drop you off at the relevant park you are going to without any other changes. But they do run to their time table.. Taxis from there to the Disney parks could cost $23-30+ tip each way depending which park your are going to. You may have to pay per person on the shuttles.

If there is a family of you this can soon tot up as chinners says you should budget for this. If your group /family were 5plus this could work out at $50 a day x 10 days.=$500

This kind of money would hire you a car for the 2 week period you would be able to go to may more places, ie Space center, Old town kissimmee, gatorland, Florida Mal /all the shopping malls, Blue springs state park. the beach for a day etc, it would be much more convenient and may well be cheaper in the long run.

It would be a good idea to ring your hotel ask about shuttle buses and find out the cost if any.

Your Post was somewhat confusing , Disney resorts are hotels %26amp; where you stay on Disney property. Disney lay on buses/ water taxi%26#39;s to take you to any of their theme parks . But not to others or outside shops restaurants and other attractions. You seemed to indicate that you were staying on one. In which case you would not have needed a taxi. and public bus services( what there are) are not allowed to go there to take their guests off property

Looking at my post i see what you mean was confusing, was half asleep when writing sorry,

Thanks everyone for the information, my hotel does do a shuttle, But just looking at alternative incase it doesnt leave early enough.

I might leave early, But it might have a lot of pickups . and it might take an hour or more to get there . Distance you could drive in 10 min.
