Florida State Parks

Can any body suggest any of the State Parks (approx an hours drive from i drive) that are worth a visit.

I have heard Wekiwa Springs is a good place for a ';chill out'; half day.

Are there any more within range?

Blue Springs is a nice park to visit. In the winter months you can see manatees there. In the summer you can rent tubes and relax in the springs.

Its just for somewhere to go when my 6 and 8 year olds start to flag at the parks and are in need of a ';power nap'; in the car.

I hope it also gives us a chance to appreciate the true beauty of Florida.
