Best view for MK Fireworks and Spectromagic

We%26#39;ve been to Disney a few times and seen Fantasmic and Illuminations - both great. We%26#39;ve never managed to see the fireworks though! However, this time we%26#39;re going to see them or bust!

Question - where is the best spot to view them? I understand there%26#39;s a bit where Tinkerbell flies overhead? We want to see that. Are there any places to sit and see them or will we be standing? How early do we have to get to our best spot?

Likewise - where%26#39;s the best viewing for Spectomagic and how early should we get there?

Thanks so much!

PS: We leave this Friday!!!!

Best view for MK Fireworks and Spectromagic

bump! (ow! my head!) :-)

Best view for MK Fireworks and Spectromagic

Well we were there on Tuesday..........and the spectomagic Parade comes from Main Street towards the castle and around it to the left.......so really anywhere along there is fine.

But I think directly in front of the castle or a little to the RIGHT is the best place for Wishes.........Tinkerbell flies out a tad to the right (when you are looking at the castle)

Just do not go to the left.........as we did and ended up with trees in the way.........

Truthfully............Wishes is nice.........but the other shows are the best! Illuminations and Fantasmic.............

Spectomagic was awesome!

The bummer for us was waiting for an hour to get on a boat to take us to our car.........and the monorail was just as bad...........

So I am glad we saw it once......but unless I was on Disney property I would not stay for them again.........too many people trying to leave at the same time.

Hope this helps a bit! The weather was GREAT last week! Perfect trip!

The best place to view the fireworks is to the right of the castle when facing it (as the other poster mentioned). That%26#39;s where you can see Tinkerbell. There%26#39;s some steps in front of the tomorrowland noodle station you can sit on to watch, %26amp; Tink flies overhead. We actually preferred it to illuminations at Epcot, which had even more people exiting when it was over than the MK.

As the other posters say, you can see spectromagic from almost everywhere in main street and the castle area...

IMO the b e s t view is right at the railroad station at the frontgate.

Go upstairs and look toward the castle...

Brilliant!

B u t many people know that! so if you are planning to do that be there at least 1 hour prior the show.

w e always go to the bridge to tomorrowland... always enough space and you can see the castle as well!

I gues noone really likes the jam at the exit when wishes is over... so w a i t at least 90 min before you leave.

But I think the best show at disney is illumination! you have to see that!

We always choose to see both these shows from the little bridge just past the buildings of Main St. right before you reach the ';circle'; in front of the castle.

You can see both shows excellently from this area, and not much tree interference either.

I think on top of the Comptempory outside the restaurant is a view not to be missed!!!

We like to watch Spectromagic from Frontierland. We find that it%26#39;s usually less crowded over there and you can stand on the elevated walks to get a nice view. For the fireworks I like to be in the middle of Main Street with the castle dead center. I think the effects are best from there.

Have fun on your trip and, btw, I%26#39;m very jealous!

Jennifer

Thanks for all the replies. Now I just hope I make it to the end of the day to see all this! :-) No fear - I can always head back to the resort and nap and come back around dinner time.

Thanks again!
