Fort Wilderness

Hi,

We are travelling to Disney and staying at the All star resorts.

But we were wondering if it%26#39;s possible to go to Fort Wilderness for some of their activities. We are planning to do character dining there to, but the hiking and renting boats looks like fun too.

Any tip is welcome.

Hello Thady,

You can visit any of the Disney resorts and rent the boats or take a stroll. I believe all you%26#39;ll need is your drivers liscense for the boat rental.

Fort Wilderness

You may have trouble getting to Ft. Wilderness by bus early in the day from All-Stars because the busses don%26#39;t go there early much, only later in the day for Hoop-Dee-Doo performances.

So, if going in the morning or early afternoon hours, you may want to take a bus to the Magic Kingdom, then take a boat over to Ft. Wilderness from there.

Thanks, we were thinking of going in the afternoon and stay for the BBQ with Mickey or the campfire.

Till when does the boats take you from MK to Fort Wilderness and back??

And can we also take the bus at Downtown Disney to Fort Wilderness?

The boats go from MK to Ft. Wilderness and back for the hours the M.K. is open plus about one hour to each side of opening and closing time of M.K.

Yes, you can catch a Disney bus at Downtown Disney to Ft. Wilderness.
