help me pick a hotel

Hi guys, my husband and I are trying to book a last minute vacay (next wknd) and need help picking between Sheraton Yankee Trader and Marriott Harbor Beach Resort. Sheraton is a little cheaper, but not by much (if we do a standard room at Marriott).

A little info on us: I%26#39;m 6months pregnant, we%26#39;re not getting a car and looking to walk/bus ride/taxi to local eatries and attractions. We didn%26#39;t have time to take a honeymoon so this is our last escape before the baby gets here, but we%26#39;re not rich...what are your thoughts?

Yankee Trader- because Marriott will be difficult without a car- it is set back from the road and folks do complain about that. At the Trader you can walk to many restaurants etc or ride the Sun Trolley. Stay at the Marriott only if you are willing to stay mainly in their facility. without going around to other places. It is very pretty, but may not be convenient in your circumstance.

We%26#39;ve stayed in the Yankee Trader around four times and have always found it to be of a decent standard. You can easily walk to local restaurants or take the water taxi to Olas.

The hotel has had the odd poor review, but we%26#39;ve always stayed in the South Tower and had a free upgrade (I don%26#39;t really know why). The pool at the South Tower is much more pleasant than the one facing the beach and A1A - whenever we%26#39;ve been there it%26#39;s been almost deserted whereas the other one is often packed (maybe because it%26#39;s not mentioned in the literature in the room).

ok...so we%26#39;ve decided to go with Sheraton Trader...I%26#39;m looking at expedia/hotwire/etc...any recs on which room selection we should make- some of the sites are so vague...Also, any tips on things we should do and nice cheap eats?

Any place you eat at on the beach won%26#39;t be ';cheap'; because you are on the beach. 8-9$ hamburgers is the norm.
