Capri International and one other question

Hi,

Since there are only 2 reviews of Capri International on this site, I figured I%26#39;d ask if anyone else has an opinion of the place. It has apparently been recently renovated, and looks good online. And it%26#39;s price is right. My girlfriend and I want to go for a long weekend to Siesta Key, and want to be able to go to Crescent Beach. This appears to be one of the more affordable places by like $40 a day. The other option is to stay at the Holiday Inn Express, but how hard is it to get to the beach by public transportation? (i%26#39;m sure it%26#39;s hard to find parking at Crescent beach from what I%26#39;ve heard).

We%26#39;ll be going in May

Capri International and one other question

Stay at the Capri. The Holiday Inn Express is by US 41 (Tamiami Trail) and Stickney Pt. Rd. At the Capri, you are by the beach and by restaurants etc.

May is off season. Have you looked at Tropical Shores Resort or a condo rental?

Capri International and one other question

I%26#39;ve looked at condos or tropical shores. Condos seem to be mostly for a week. We%26#39;ll be only there for 3 nights. And tropical shores has gotten some rave reviews, but it%26#39;s also $45 more a night before taxes, which although doesn%26#39;t sound like a ton, that%26#39;s like a dinner a night for the two of us, and unfortunately I%26#39;m just a poor grad student.

The Capri will be just fine! It%26#39;s in a great area and the place has been remodeled. It is on Crescent Beach, which is the best on the Southwest coast of FL.

You%26#39;re going to love it. (May is off season so they%26#39;ll be fewer crowds. Right now we have been overrrun with Spring Break families...)

Enjoy!
