Me my partner and 12 year old son are staying at saratoga springs and therefore within walking distance to DTD - what can you recommend for a good night with entertainment ?? Dont mind taking my son into places as long as hes allowed and it wont be to roudy.... was thinking about house of blues?? please advise somewhere we can eat and have entertainment would be good....

Most of the clubs at Pleasure Island are for 21 yo and up. The only exception is the comedy club and the Adventurers club. You need to buy tickets in order to go to any of the clubs. I%26#39;ve never seen kids in those places.
House of Blues is at Downtown Disneys West Side, which is located next to PI but is not technically in PI. I believe they have a restaurant section for people of all ages. The club part has live bands which require a paid admission and probably need to be over 21. It%26#39;s a nightclub atmosphere with lots of drinking. Probably not an ideal place for a 12 yo. Sometimes they have an outdoor band playing music around PI and they have carts that sell beer if you are looking for a drink.

I have seen tons of kids in the Adventurers Club (my three loved it) and some in the comedy club. Those are the ones that allow minors. there is also a stage where live bands play outside (don%26#39;t need a ticket for that). After Dinner ar DTD this is a good activity for you and your son, but no dance clubs I%26#39;m afraid- he would like the same music as you anyway ;-) Go to the Comedy Club early as it has the most limited tickets.
