Spring Break

Hi everyone,

I have read through the posts and appreciate the information on a few chill bars around town. Yes, I am a college student at the University of Cincinnati and will be coming down with 5 other fellow college friends. We have done the crazy spring breaks at Panama, South Padre, Daytona and as others have said, would appreciate a very relaxed time. We like to go out and have a few drinks/be social, but not run around drunk and cause aggravation among the locals and fellow tourists. I used to come to SK as a child with the family for many years before we started going to Naples. I always remembered its remarkable beaches and relaxed atmosphere. My question is, are coolers of beer perm (not bottles) permitted on the beach. I will also be coming down the week of March 17-24th. Looking forward to it!

As far as I know you can still bring cans of beer to the beach in a cooler. I do it every year, and have never had any problems.
