SUper Walmart (or the like) on the way to Windsor Hills?

Hello! Only 13 days til we head to WDW! Our flight gets in late (1045p) at MCO. Is there a Super Walmart on the way to Windsor Hills, or are we better off packing some breakfast and hitting the store Sunday later? I was guessing the kids might fall asleep in the car on the way to WH and I could leave hubby and them in the lot and speed shop for a few items.

Thanks in advance!

I would go the next day. There are two super wal-marts relatively close, but neither are really ';on the way'; from MCO to WH.

One is East on 192 just past Medieval Times.

The other is on US27, if you go west on 192 until it merges with the 27 %26amp; go north. This one is probably closer to WH.

If your staying at Windsor Hills and you pass the turn to go toward Windsor Hills and go to the next light there is a Market Place grocery store there, they are more expensive than publix or Walmart, but its closer and if you just want to pop in for a couple of things it may be the easiest.

Also ask the home owner if you can get a welcome pack in the home. They are around $40.00 and they include juice, soda, milk water, bread butter, donuts, chips things like that. It may be worth considering.

There is also a Super Wal-Mart on 535 near Osceola Pkwy and the Lake Buena Vista Factory Outlets. If taking 417 from the airport, you would get off at the 535 exit from 417, and the road you would be on after exiting is 536. Shortly after getting on 536, you would come to the red light intersection with 535. Take a left on 535, and about 3/4 of a mile to 1 mile on the right, you would see the Super Wal Mart. I don%26#39;t know if you can go back to the 417 exit to pick up 417 West (I know you can go eastbound), but you can take Osceola Pkwy West into Disney and go south on the main Disney Freeway to US 192, then take a right (west) on US 192 to Old Lake Wilson Rd.

Don%26#39;t know if I%26#39;d tackle Super Wal-Mart late at night though in an area I%26#39;m not intimately familiar with. But it is very convenient to your route from the airport if taking 417. If taking 528 instead, there%26#39;s a Wal-Mart on John Young Pkwy about 1 mile north of the 528.

If you want to go to a Walmart at that time, I presume it is for some light snack and stuff for breakfast the next day. The previous post mentioned that if you drive a little past the turnoff to WH on the 192, there is a Win-Dixie Supermarket on the left. A little further down the road is a Publix. At that time there is very little traffic so its not much of a detour.

Is the Market Place open 24 hours? If so, that would be a good option, otherwise, as late as you%26#39;re getting in, I wouldn%26#39;t depend on it. Though anything%26#39;s possible, I%26#39;ve never seen a Publix that didn%26#39;t close by 10 pm at the latest, at least in Orlando.

I%26#39;d ######### that you keep your bases covered and pack some breakfast before you go just in case. You may be wiped out when you get here.

Neither the Winn-Dixie or the Publix are 24 hours stores.

Thanks for the advice and directions. I think I%26#39;ll go ahead and pack some breakfast-y type things and we%26#39;ll hit the store Sunday after we go to the Hoop dee doo revue. I read about ordering from garden grocer. It looks convenient but the prices seemed very high.

Thanks again!
