3 year old at disney

We are traveling to Disney this summer with a three year old. We have booked the Pop Century and are getting the all week hopper passes so we can decide which parks and how much to do at once as we go. Does anyone know anything about stroller rentals? We figured we will be in lines most of the time so were not going to bring one, but you never know. We did not add the water parks to our passes and figured we would spend time at the pool if we want to get wet. There will only be the two of us and the 3 year old. Does anyone have any helpful tips for us? We are flying and planning on using disney transportation to and from parks. Don%26#39;t need fancy food, just something nourishing. Does anyone know how much the refillable mugs are? Can they only be used at the resort? What is the food like at the food court, and how much $$$ do you think we will need per day for food?

A site to look at is allears.net you will find loads of information there. You can check out all the menus and prices for all the theme parks and resorts. You can also find out about stroller rentals and almost anything else you want to know. I%26#39;ve done all of our planning using this forum and that site. Hope that helps some.

allears.net also has menus and menu prices for most eating places in dinsey world parks and resorts.

Hi rusty

You will definitely need a stroller and you have to pay each day, think it%26#39;s about $10 now, they will charge a few dollars less if you book for so many days in advance but it works out cheaper to either bring one with you or get a cheap walmart one for the holiday and leave it behind. My kids were 3 and 7 when we were there and we ended up getting a double stroller each day as the parks are so huge.

For 3 year old would definitely recommend Animal Kingdom (don%26#39;t miss the lion king show) and a few days at Magic Kingdom (fantasyland and toontown are best areas for little ones).

We found food for 3 year old quite boring, macaroni cheese or chicken strips so pack a few snacks and some bananas.

Would also recommend a character lunch such as the Crystal Palace with Winnie the Pooh and friends, food here is buffet style and very good and the characters come to your table for photos and autographs, my little one loved it.

Have a great time, we all did.

Thanks for the tips. I guess an umbrella stroller can be taken onto the airplane? Or will I have to check it? We have a couple of months to look for one on sale. allears.net was a good source of info, also.

You will definately need the stroller. You can bring them on the plane. You take them up to the gate with you and then leave them outside the door of the plane. They will then be stored by the attendants and will be waiting for you when you disembark (you may have to wait a minute or two).

Concerning the refillable mugs, the cost of them are $11.99 and refills are free for your entire stay at Pop. The mugs are only good at the food court at Pop, however.

Here is a link to both the breakfast and the lunch/dinner menu at the Pop foodcourt below. You%26#39;ll need around $10 per meal per day at Disney for counter service meals (less for the 3-year-old).
