Vendors for Islamorada Wedding

We are getting married in Nov. at the LO-KEY Estate. We have rented the entire property for our wedding party and immediate family. I am not crazy about the planners I have found,kinda cheesy. I am trying to plan myself. I am looking for suggestions for caterers,flowers, and the hardest part.....Musicians???????

David Feder played at our wedding in Islamorada. Just a guitarist. . he was wonderful and perfect for our low key wedding. I%26#39;ve posted this many times but I LOVE LOVE Bobs Bunz wedding cakes. Esp the Key Lime cake. My guests were fighting over it. Enchanted Florist got the flowers perfect and we had a light buffet type dinner with Mangrove Mikes. We did the bar ourselves. The florist just did 2 bouquets and a center piece, my girlfriends and I did other flowers on tables from what we found in the yard.

Lots of muscians playing at the local bars. Marathon has many to choose from. Come down ahead of time and take a listen and ask if they are avl. I know the ones that play frequently in Marathon do weddings etc as well through out the Keys. Mainly depends on what sound you are looking for.

Thanks for the info??? We have made an appt at BOBS BUNZ next week. Also, we have made an appt with Corie at Mangrove Mike%26#39;s. Did you compare with Caribbean Catering? Not sure if I should shop? Where was your wedding/reception? Sounds like you planned my perfect wedding all the way from GA

I actually live in the keys now. Been here most of my life, I was was working from ATL at the time, not sure why I put that and can%26#39;t change it.

anyway....

I had not heard of Carribean Catering until I started seeing it on TA. So can%26#39;t help you much there. We just wanted simple easy to eat food. The wedding was very low key. We didn%26#39;t invite anyone, just asked our friends and family to let us know if they would be here. We got 40. The ';Cheesy Keysy '; part was we had the Nauti Limo drive me there.

I wouldn%26#39;t get the cake anywhere but Bobs. Not only is Robert a super nice guy, his cake was amazing. That is the most mentioned thing from the wedding!
