Hi, we%26#39;re going to PCB at the end of April. We%26#39;ve only been there before for one day so all we did was go to the beach. This time we%26#39;ll be there for four days and we%26#39;re looking for some fun family oriented things to see and do. Any suggestions would be much appreciated! Here are some questions:
We have a 9 month old baby. Anyone know of some baby friendly places?
Any places or activites that my 60 year old mom and aunt would enjoy?
We%26#39;re thinking of renting a pontoon boat to go snorkeling and to Shell Island. I found a place online %26#39;Shell Island Boat Rentals %26amp; Tours,'; anyone know anything about this place?
They have a 4 hour rental for $179. Is this a good price?
My husband and I want to go out alone one night for dinner and drinks. Any suggestions on a really nice place, not too expensive?
How about any cheap but good places for all of us to eat? We%26#39;ll be doing most of eating at our rental but will probably eat out a couple of times.
Anything else that you can think of that you think we should know, would be great!
Thank you! :)

Laristarr-
I am a local just checkin out some reviews for hotels in town. I saw your forum and wanted to let you kno about a few places. There isnt really anything in particular for the baby. Although Gulf World MArine Park is great for the entire family, young and old. There is also Zoo World. There are helicopter rides that alot of people enjoy. You get an ariel view of the whole beach. As for Shell island boat rentals I would recommend calling the state park to see if the shell island shuttle is running. It is like $20 bucks to take the shuttle over to the island from the state park and it runs like every 30 minutes. That will save you a lot of time and money rather than renting a boat.
As for inexpensive resturants, By the sea resorts just opened a new resturaunt and full bar called ';Barefoot Beach Club';, great environment, great food, and very friendly staff. It is located on front beach rd between Legacy and Beachbreak. It is a little hidden so look for it, its worth it. Also Calypso%26#39;s on Front beach as well is great too.
I hope this has helped you out a little bit. Have a great vacation and welcome to Panama City Beach!

Family Needs LOTS of Advice on PCB Activites Please!
Thanks Lindsey! We%26#39;ll keep that stuff in mind. My husband is pretty set on wanting to rent a boat to drive around, so I think we%26#39;re probably going to end up doing that. :)
Thanks again!
if you just want to snorkel, why not just snorkel at the kiddie pool at st andrews st park and not rent the boat...you can do the kiddie pool and the gulf (if not rough) and only pay park admission
Nice place to eat is The Boatyard - www.theboatyardclub.com. It%26#39;s right on the water, you can sit outside or in and they have musicians playing sometimes ( not sure how often ) We have eaten there in the day and also at night and the food is very good, it has a nice atmosphere and the staff are also nice. We don%26#39;t think it is expensive but the prices are on the website
Do your Mum and Aunt like shopping ? You could take a ride to Destin ( about 40 mins away ) check out the outlet shopping at Silver Sands and perhaps call into Sandestin Resort on the way back, they have a village area with shops, restaurants and live music which anyone can visit you don%26#39;t have to stay at the resort. It is very nice at night with lights in trees, very family friendly place.
